I am not a Romani. But i do speak a lot of the language, have lots of Romani or Sinti friends and have taken up some of the culture. i feel at home with it and when i have finished my education i want to pursue this life even more. But certain people in my school hate me for this. one boy seems to find it very hard to accept that i have friends who are travellers, and even worse is that i speak the language. they call me dirty and unclean, and a gypo, and when i say something back in either English or Roma they laugh. Recently i got into trouble for hitting one of them.yet they get away with murder. things need to change.
