It was finding another kind of theater

With the stories, we find a way to tellthem that is dynamic, where the person who is telling it is present. We use as much energy as possible in the telling.
It is not story-theater in the sense that we try to show every moment, but we are really telling stories and somewhat dramatizing them.
We worked at it. We did theater exercises – and then threw them away. We were using theater but not doing theater as such. We were telling these stories.
We rehearsed it very much like a theater piece: we rehearsed it. I was interested in repeatability: now that you’ve learned how to tell this, how do you repeat it?
It was finding another kind of theater.
