Networking Europe

Since 1994 the Stories Exchange Project has been collecting and presenting stories about interaction between Czechs and Roma. In 1995 the results of a first round of story-gathering in Prague and Western Bohemia were presented at the Roxy Center in Prague.
The Stories Exchange Project returned to the Roxy Center on 17 October 2000. Cafe 9, a networking of Internet cafes throughout Europe organized by the European Union and based in Prague at the Roxy Center gave Praguers the opportunity to hear, read, and respond to stories gathered by Stories Exchange Project 2000 about Czechs and Roma surviving the Holocaust, learning, working, acting as citizens and meeting each other – and to exchange their own stories with people throughout Europe.
